Grown by 18 smallholder farmers in the highlands of Madriz, northern Nicaragua, this exceptional Certified Organic coffee is cultivated at 1,200 meters above sea level. With support from Cosecha, the farmers use dynamic agroforestry techniques to produce a clean, crisp cup featuring vibrant citrus notes and a delicate floral aroma. This lot showcases Arabica varieties including Caturra, Catimor, and Parainema. SHG – Strictly High Grown coffee is harvested at high altitudes, which allows the coffee cherries to mature slowly resulting in a denser and higher quality green coffee beans. EP – Stands for European Preparation, an additional sorting to ensure only the finest green coffee beans are exported.
